Narrative
Tony is wasted at home. His controlling parents want to protect him mainly because he glows when he takes off his mask and gloves. But his new friend Shelly doesn’t care at all as their house is shrouded in darkness. Vision máWritten by Tomas KlusPerformed by Tomas Klusas and Sima Magusinova. I saw this movie as part of the FEST film festival and it was so cool that it’s in Czech with subtitles. I recommend watching in the original language. The film is about our inner light and how it changes those around us. It is located in a dreamy city during the snow season and holidays. Abstract and colorful, it attracts the attention of both adults and children. The beautifully animated characters and the world give the film a dreamlike feel. The plot is simple and beautiful, sometimes slow and focused on the visual and audio experience. I’d rate it even higher, but it’s still basically a cartoon for the kids of the enemies.
