He is smart. He is cute. He is Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During Season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. replaces his father in some shots, as the two look very similar. During the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in the second season, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving his left side featureless. This will be my first review on IMDb, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t go to IMDb to check reviews of movies or TV shows I’m watching, I watch a lot of movies and TV shows. For the first time in my life, I couldn’t fall asleep after watching a series. I’ve seen prison break, heroes and more. The first season of Prison Break and Heroes was great. They inspired me so much that I got some tattoos on my body. However, both of these series are discontinued as soon as they move on to the next season. Heroes was a big disappointment but DEXTER.. OMG episode after episode makes me so interested in the next episode.. damn season 4. I just couldn’t sleep all night after watching it. I spent my weekend watching back to back episodes. To start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) his darkness was beyond the limit, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he is the same in real life, but then I discovered that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real one wife who plays his sister in this series. Damn Debra is one character who is so confused and mostly controlled by the people around her, she always does something wrong but always gets credit for the good things as well. I like the part when you find out what’s going on. Dexter thinks when he thinks about something or when someone talks to him, including the part when he talks to his dead father Harry. (he just thinks what his dad would say in that situation). All the episodes/characters and all the seasons are written and acted so well that you can hardly find a flaw in it. My favorite characters are Dexter (pretty obvious), Rita and Vince Masuka, Vince is so funny, he says one word. throughout his episode and turns out to be pretty damn funny. I just can’t wait for season 5 and I’m sure anyone who watched Dexter feels the same way I do. (Sorry if my first review has mistakes and hurt anyone’s feelings.)
