CIA operative Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war against terrorist-based activities, etc… Mentioned in Sovereign Awards (2024). I’m half way through season 1 and got hooked from episode 1, which is rare for me. The premise of the show seems pretty heavily clichéd at first glance. But every move subverts the cliché thanks to excellent screenwriting, casting and acting. There is a clear and present intelligence behind it. The intimate dialogue in the family setting is at times even breathtaking. Every key character becomes believable and the events that unfold become believable. The main thrill of the shootouts and fight scenes is satisfying and I thoroughly enjoy the active development of the plot. well done Lots of bite.
