Movie Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024) states
The 40k episode is one of the greatest things I’ve ever watched, and I’ve never felt more blessed by the holy light of the Empire than watching that first battle sequence 39 times. It’s great to finally have a high-budget, good-quality adaptation of my favorite franchise into a show.
For the Emperor!
I’m not a huge fan of any of the other episodes, but I can tell they’ve done a really good job and there’s a lot of thought and care put into it. Anyone who thinks it’s a bad show either hasn’t played any of the games here or knows nothing about the IP, or they’re just nitpicking and looking for flaws.
