A remake of Le bureau des légendes (2015)
I don’t get all the negativity in the reviews, yes, it’s not quite Bourne territory, but it’s tense, well-acted and grabs your attention.
Fassbender is excellent again and unlike most spy dramas it’s actually quite believable
I haven’t seen the French original before so forgive me if I don’t provide a comparison, but it would be a shame if there was a negative comparison it would put a damper on any enjoyment of it.
Please don’t let the negativity stop you from watching, it’s worth your time
Maybe the concerns about the pacing come from binge culture, it’s probably slow if you want to watch a few episodes in one sitting, but honestly I don’t see any problem with it.
