Narrative
After 20 years of absence, Odysseus (Ralph Fiennes) is exhausted and washed up on the shores of Ithaca. The king has returned from the Trojan War, but much has changed in his kingdom. His beloved wife Penelope (Juliette Binoche) is a prisoner in her own home, pursued by suitors vying for the throne. Her son Telemachus (Charlie Plummer) is in danger of dying at the hands of these suitors, who see him as nothing more than an obstacle in their path to kingship.
